Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics: The IKMAF's Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics (LEDT) training and certification program is designed to serve the policing needs of Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs), security guards, private detectives, bodyguards, and private citizens who wish to explore the skills of LEDT. There are two types of LEDT certification, one is a Certificate of Proficiency of LEDT and the other is a LEDT Instructor Certification. The LEDT program explores methods of self-protection, safe mechanics of restraining and control procedures, and the applicable legal considerations. IKMAF issues its own LEDT certifications based on the considerable experience of Ian A. Cyrus, former FBI Special Agent and FBI LEDT instructor.
